All the stuff are wonderful, very attentive and approachable. The new landlord Harry is absolutely fabulous. The food comes out in a timely manner, well presented. I can highly recommend the Olive Bar And Grill Barnby Dun.Doncaster
First timer, came along to watch a mate do his UB40 tribute act so took advantage to have a dad / daughter date and grab something to eat. Wasn't disappointed one bit, the food is among some of the best pub food I've had. There was a slight mix up when paying in that I ended up paying for someone else's drinks but it was immediately put right with an apology when the staff realised the mistake. Will definitely be back with the wife, for one of the rocks
First time here, and the only thing we were disappointed about was that they have taken their exotic food off the menu despite still being advertised on the website. There were only 2 members of staff, and they were rushed off their feet, but still did a fantastic job. The place was clean/tidy and well kept, and the food was amazing and a reasonable price too. Would definitely come here again.
Went recently here with a group of us for a couples night out. All of our meals were lovely, arrived in good time and great portions. I had the Rump steak on the hot slab so was cooking as it arrives to the table. It was hot and sizzling and nice to be able to manage your food, bonus fry the tomatoes from the salad (lovely Salad and dressing) on here at the same time!... only tip I'd do on a return visit was maybe ask for a side plate as the meat continually cooks. So to keep it Medium rare you need to be able to keep it of the slab at times. Easily go to again if in the area.
We were lucky to find the Olive available at short notice to use for the Wake for our Mum. Harry and the staff put together a lovely selection of food which was enjoyed by all who attended. Would recommend.
Dog friendly pub. We sat outside the front on lower terrace with views across the road to fields.had Sunday lunch which was really nice. Choice of beef, pork and turkey £15.95 or the trio for £18.95.the staff were amazing very tentative. The top of the steps a a little dangerous as tiles missing as as it’s the first thing that greats you it does not give you a good feeling.
